This event takes place on 28th May from 10:00am to 4:00pm and will take place at Hett Village Hall. It is a Guild event being organised by Maggie Taylor, or07514 286757.
The Traditional Quilt groups Suitcase Collection is coming to Region 15E. The collection is a must to see, 40 stunning small quilts made by the group. You can view them at Hett Village Hall on 28th May, 2016 between 10am – 4pm. Tea/coffee and homemade cakes are included in your admission price of £3.
A quilting tombola will be held as well as the Region’s Sales Table.
Hett Village Hall. The Hall is a Nissen Hut from the war. It may be a relic from the war but inside all mod. cons. are available. There also two interesting quilted banners. You will have to visit to find out more!
Members often ask the Committee for a venue further south. Well now we have one! So please support this event. It will be a most pleasurable day including the obligatory homemade cakes!

From A1 north and south – leave motorway at Junction 61, Durham Services, taking the exit for the A688 to Spennymoor, second exit at the next roundabout. You will then see a sign for Hett, turning right . Along this country lane you will take a left turn (straight on is a dead end) up to the village. You will come to a T junction where the Village Hall is opposite you. Parking is available at the Hall or alternatively on the road side. Please do not park on the village green as I can guarantee you will have to be towed out.
